Triund trek is one of the shortest and easiest Himalayan treks with spectacular scenery and a picturesque view of snow-covered Dhauladhar ranges and Kangra valley.
This two days short trek can easily be done on a weekend. Most of us barely get enough time to travel, explore new places and go on an adventurous trip. Triund trek allows us to explore the beauty and calmness of Himalayans, this trek might be short but it will; surely give you a little taste of adventure as the trail is a little steep at some points.

Gaggal Airport or Kangra Airport at Dharamshala is about 20 km away from McLeod Ganj and is well connected to Delhi, Kullu, and Chandigarh. A number of state-owned and private buses connect McLeod Ganj with other cities like Delhi, Chandigarh, and Dharamshala. Pathankot Railway Station, situated approximately 90 km away, is the closest broad gauge railhead serving those headed to McLeod Ganj.

Jacob N15 December 20233 friends & Triund overnight trek Great exercise, fresh air and beautiful trek. Started out in town, ascended up the hill then eventually up the mountain. Mountain Ponies carried all the gear while we had light backpacks! Excellent tour guide host Manu. Participants Need to be physically prepared even for the Triund trek. Overnight stay in tent was excellent temperature very cold though we did our homework and kept warm. Food, company & experience to a great evel highly recommended to others .

Manu and the crew are super friendly, accommodating and professional. We were looked after with amazing meals and warm camping gear. Highly recommended. The walk is stunning and doing it with a professional guide like Manu will make your trip much easier.

But the Manu adventures made sure I didn’t have anything to worry about. The tour guide was competent and allowed us to trek at our pace. The camping location was beautiful and the host was amazing. The food was great too.

Playing cricket at 3300metres was a highlight! Ranu's campsite was really lovely, incredible views and tasty, hearty food! HCHedges5 November 2023The most amazing experience doing the Dalai Lama trek in the Himalayans with Manu and his team. Wow what a sensational adventure with Manu Adventures. My friend and I searched for a unique trip after being disappointed that our Kilimanjaro trip had been cancelled due to covid 3 years ago with a different company. We searched for something unique and different and challenging and this is what we got with the Dalai Lama Trek in the Himalayas including Delhi and Agra. Manu is truly a saint and a hero to all that meet him. He is so encouraging and has an amazing team that produce some spectacular food, and transport all the camping gear and bags to each camp site high in the Himalayas. We managed to achieve what we thought was possibly unachievable and had the time of our lives and met some inspiring women on this trek team.
