This was an amazing trip with expert guidance and warm Indian hospitality. It was a tough trek but Anuj kept us going and with a perfect poise. We stopped for a lot of pictures and Anuj Wes there with us the whole time. We also got an amazing meal that the ponies had carried to base camp. We went all the way up to snow line from McLeod Ganj. Thank you Anuj and Manu!

I had an amazing trek with Ranu. We went to Triund and Snowline, camping at Snowline and returning via a different route ending at the waterfall. Ranu is an expert guide and he kept the perfect pace so we could reach Snowline and not be too tired. Once we reached Snowline we went to an old Durga temple on the mountain. I meditated there and then we returned to camp for an excellent meal of mountain vegetables and roti. Highly recommend Ranu!

I had a really great experience with the 2 Days / 1 Night Triund Group Trek. The team was very responsive from the beginning, especially with all my questions and planning requests. Thanks for Anuj kapoor, a professional guide, it’s not a easy if you want to reach to the snowline cafe, however it’s definitely worthy to stay there for 3 days, the food from snowline cafe is delicious and it’s convenient also you can buy everything from there, highly recommended to visit this place.

Highly recommended for all trekkers!Our Indrahar Pass trek with Manu Adventures was exceptional. Everything was perfectly timed, the food was great, and the pre-trek guidelines were incredibly helpful. Our guide was a true professional—very experienced, and we learned a lot from him along the trail. A truly memorable Triund trek! I did the 2 day, 1 night trek. Before the trek, the team were responsive and answered all my questions so I was prepared for the day. For the trek Anush our guide was brilliant. He looked after us very well, making sure that everyone was comfortable, safe, taking breaks when needed with awareness to the varying trekking abilities in the group. As a beginner, I was grateful for his understanding and help. At the campsite he prepared our tents and bedding, which was clean and comfortable (even offering me a second sleeping bag as it was a cold night!). At meal and tea times he always made sure we had plenty to eat and drink. The views on this hike are spectacular, and to wake up to it is something I'll never forget.

Gorgeous scenery and the owner Manu is very friendly. I would invest in a walking stick as it is definitely not for beginners and takes about 7 hours to complete. But the view is out of this world and the food they provide is very delicious!

Corporate Majdoors Approved: Premium Trek, Zero Compromise We were a group of eight “corporate majdoors” hunting for a hygienic, premium trek. After 9 km, you deserve pampering and real food. Manu Adventures delivered more than we expected.Their staff were professional and efficient. Our trek lead, Anuj, was calm and confident, with 17 years of experience. Dinner had so much variety we joked we don’t get this much at home. Tents and gear were spotless.We came back happy, full, and impressed. In a crowded market, this is a gem. Highly recommended.

Best trip ever! Wow! Where to begin! Our trek with Manu Adventures was a dream. I reached out several days before we were due to arrive in Dharamsala and asked if they would be able to accommodate me and my father on a last minute over night trek to the top of triund. Vaishalee, Manu’s customer service representative was very nice and helped me book the trek over what’sapp and gave me all the directions we needed to know before arriving in Dharamsala. We would meet her later in Dharamsala and she was just as lovely in person :) I was concerned about my fitness level, and my father’s ability to make the climb, but she assured us we would be fine. When we got to Dharamsala, we met with Manu at the office and right of the bat he was funny, inviting and very warm. He also assured us again that the guide would take us up the route as slow as we needed to make the trek as safe and enjoyable as possible. It was the night before Diwali, so he also warned us that the campsite would be crowded, but he had told our guide to set a place for us away from the large crowd. The next day we met our guide Ranu and started off. Ranu was extremely kind, knew the trail very well, and was friends with every other guide and cafe owner along the way. He was extremely patient with our slow pace and checked in often to make sure we felt safe and ok. He pointed out trees and animals along the way, and answered our many questions about the trail and Himachal Pradesh. The trek itself was beautiful, physically it was demanding but there are plenty of place to stop and catch your breath, get a cup of chai and a bottle of water (make sure you bring cash with you for the cafes). we had hiking boots but many people did it with normal running shoes, including Ranu. Ranu made getting the tents and sleeping bags very easy, and knew exactly where and when to take us around the crowded campsite for food and chai. He put so much work into getting firewood and building a fire for us, and made sure we were all set for the night and next morning. Our story does not end there! As a testament to how kind and open Manu and his team are (we would come to learn that Ranu and Manu are brothers!) he invited us to meet the rest of his family and spend Diwali with them, as we were traveling alone and had never been to India before. Everyone in Manu’s family was so kind and welcoming and it made this whole trip to India a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me and my dad. We had the best time ever getting to know them and are some of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. I am so happy to say that through Manu Adventures we have made amazing new friends and beautiful memories. If you are doing any traveling in Dharamsala, or anywhere else in India book with Manu adventures! You are guaranteed to have a great time.

Manu is the best! The arrangements were easy and the cost very reasonable. More importantly, the trek was fantastic! Our guide, Ranu, accurately described the route and was both patient and motivating. The trek itself was more on the demanding side of a beginner trek, mostly because of the altitude, but the reward was the view from the top. Purely spectacular! The vegetarian meals were delicious and the tent and sleeping bags were cozy even in late October. Most importantly, Manu (and Ranu) became like family, welcoming us into their lives in the warmest fashion. One of the best travel experiences I have ever had.

Great and flexible experience! We are a family of 4 adults. We went on a three day trek from Bagsu to Triund, and continued up to snow line at Laka Glacier. The trail itself is comfortable though we felt more sure with the wonderful and patient guide that came with. The views are breathtaking from morning to night. Manu adventures provided us with great conditions and flexibility from start to end, and did everything for us to have a good experience.

Car tour through the mountains Our trip was a 4 day car journey with a driver from McLeodganj to Amritsar. Manu adventures we extremely professional and arranged a brilliant trip with lots of nice stopsDue to the extended monsoon and landslides we had to make some last minute changes. The trek was amazing! The guide was really supportive and knowledgeable. This is not an easy or straightforward trek, but it is very worth it when you reach the summit and take in the views. I dis not expect that we would have to cross large snowy patches, the company should have informed this beforehand. The tents and other facilities are good, I have nothing to complain about. Food was delicious as well. In the mountains, everything is harder to come by and more expensive, and I don't think many people understand this. I was lucky enough to be the only one on the trek with the guide. Experiencing the mountains in this serene was was really special to me.

Amazing experience!! My 4 friends and I had such an amazing time on this trek! The itinerary for ours was ~3000 meters up in 9km the first day, then trek 1/2 way down the second day, and all the way down the next morning! Manu was very helpful and attentive! He also had an amazing guide for us! When we flew in there was a driver to pick us up and take us to the Manu Adventures office. We then unpacked some of our heavy luggage and started the trek! The food was amazing and we were warm in our tents with the correct clothing. Make sure to bring layers as it gets pretty cold at night! Just as a heads up, the way up is relatively steep, so be sure your legs are in proper shape, and the way down can be rough on the knees. The views are so worth it!

We have just completed 2 weeks in india and Manu was great from start to finish. From organising and booking Hotels, travel (cars and an overnight sleeper train) as well as guides, he also provided us with an itinerary to make sure we made the most of our time in india. Manu and his team were also amazing for the 5 days we spent on hiking and camping and i couldn't fault them at all ! Manu was easy to contact and quick to respond to any emails or messages both before and during out trip.

This was a truly magical experience and only made better by our wonderful guide, Shivam. It’s challenging and I would say definitely not suitable for beginners. Our tents were perfect and we were provided with more than enough sleeping bags and blankets to keep us warm. I can’t recommend this enough. The views on the way up, at the top and on the way down are beautiful. A piece of advice, take hiking sticks. They’ll help on the varied terrain and stop you falling, like me 😂 Thanks for everything, Shivam 🙏🏻❤️

Somehow fighting our tiredness and braving the rain, we made it to the peak Triund top. We loved every bit of it ,,,amazing views. 3 friends & Triund overnight trek Great exercise, fresh air and beautiful trek. Started out in town, ascended up the hill then eventually up the mountain. Mountain Ponies carried all the gear while we had light backpacks! Excellent tour guide host Manu. Participants Need to be physically prepared even for the Triund trek. Overnight stay in tent was excellent temperature very cold though we did our homework and kept warm. Food, company & experience to a great evel highly recommended to others .

Wonderful time with friends Excellent experience. We had lots of fun. It is a beautiful walk with incredible views throughout the journey. Manu and the crew are super friendly, accommodating and professional. We were looked after with amazing meals and warm camping gear. Highly recommended. Amazing experience We had an amazing time trekking to laka glacier! Manu was a great guide, he's a lot of fun and has so much knowledge about the area. Playing cricket at 3300metres was a highlight! Ranu's campsite was really lovely, incredible views and tasty, hearty food! Both Manu and Ranu took really good care of us and we'd really reccomend trekking with them, it's great value for money as well.

Beautiful trek with wonderful people! Amazing trek with amazing people! This trek was the first that my husband and I have done with a guide, and our future treks will never be the same! Everything during your time is taken care of, and all you need to do is enjoy the scenery and the workout! This experience includes a knowledgeable guide (we had Ranji), great meals, and everything you need to spend the night in the mountains! Tips for tourists from USA: - The purified water is great but my husband experienced some stomach issues, so try to stick to the mineral water bottles - Don’t worry about your bags, they’ll keep them safe in the office - If you have Ranji as your guide, he will make sure you’re safe the entire time, and will literally hold your hand if you need Bring: - Toilet paper - Cleansing wipes (there’s only a hose) - Hand sanitizer - Layers - Power bank for you phone, you probably won’t have internet access though - Flashlight - Eye mask for sleeping - Ear plugs in case other campers are loud - Money for tips and snacks along the trek - Sunscreen - Cards or games to play with others! The experience: First you’ll go into an office and be talked through your itinerary and what’s included. We really appreciated the transparency so we knew what to expect, which is really important when going trekking in a foreign country! We were then introduced to our guide, Ranji who immediately asked if we wanted him to carry anything which was so sweet! After we met him and got some hiking poles, we started our journey up to camp! The hike was beautiful and only took about an hour and a half. When we got to camp, Ranji made us some chai and set up our tent and sleeping bags. We spent the first night relaxing and walking around the camp area followed by snack time, a walk to a water source, dinner and a campfire. The next morning we woke up bright and early to go up to the snow line which was incredible! That was the entirety of day two and that was the best day ever! My husband did have some stomach issues this day though. When we got back, we played some games, had a wonderful dinner and went to sleep feeling accomplished. The next morning, we had a leisurely breakfast, said our goodbyes and made the hike back down to the office! In summary, we loved our experience and we made some great friends along our adventure!

Great camping, food, people, and Adventure This trek was one of the highlights of our month in India. Our guide Ranji took wonderful care of us and made sure we were always comfy and having a great time. It’s clear that the Manu team wants their guests to have fantastic adventures, and they excel in providing everything you need to tackle multiple nights up in the mountains above Dharamshala. Also, the breakfasts/lunches/dinners/snacks/chai was fantastic. Truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. If you want to see some of the most striking scenery on this earth with a team who cares, do yourself a favor and go on this trek.

An amazing Laka glacier trek The guides were really good. They took good care of us. The food was also good. We could ask for an omelette if we like. And many chai and ginger tea. About the trek : it was awesome with amazing views. We could go at our pace, with some stops on the way. The site for camping was also neat. Everything was furnished. And much proper than some tents we saw on the road up to Laka. You cant go wrong with manu adventures.

Cherished the journey more than the destination, clouded with experience one can never forget. Manu and his are super organised and well trained unit. We had a wonderful experience on the trip. In fact I wish to add here that the staff and guides on the trip have taken utmost care and guided us efficiently at all levels. We had the trek along with our 11 yr old daughter and trust the incident management and hospitality were amazing. Treks are always having a surprise element due to un predictable weather conditions but manu adventures team are very well equipped with logistics and management to overcome and pass through such events. Will recommend people to please opt for this choice without an iota of doubt. Cheers. Abhishek Mathur.

I had made a booking to trek from Mcleodganj to the snowline of Laka Glacier. I had the best solo trekking experience ever. From breathtaking views to interacting with locals it was incredible. With a physical limitation, I found the trek to the snowline moderately difficult. Hat's off to my guide Rohit for keeping me motivated and understanding my body and its limitations. Maintained a well paced trek with appropriate breaks between climbing. Would not have reached the snowline without his direction and mindset. Every package inclusion listed while booking was fulfilled including meals and stay facilities. A special mention for base camp caretaker Karan who made my camping experience memorable. Highly recommend Manu Adventures if you want to experience adventure in good spirits. They provide a perfect blend of everything. Cheers!

Indrahar pass during monsoon season? Check! I was planning my trip from abroad and Manu was very helpful helping me figure out what would accommodate best to my needs. He helped me arrange transport from airport, trek, hotel, as well as private car to Amritsar. I was very thankful for his quick response since i was organizing from US and there are 10hrs difference. We did the 4 days 3 nights trek to indrahar pass. It was very challenging but really worth it! We did the trek during monsoon season, but on the ascent day we lucked out with great weather. Manu has been running adventures for almost 20 years, so he knows what he is doing.

This was my first solo trek. We are 18 members in our group, and it was a worth it trek. I would especially like to mention our guide Rohit. Such a friendly person he is. Whole-time, he was taking care of each and every member of our group. Even while we were at triund top, he waited for us just because I wanted to see the sunset. Such friendly services, I have not expected. I thank manu adventures for all the services and guidance they have provided. I can't hold myself for our next plan..
