Meeting point Bhagsunag 9:45 am. The route goes via Dharamkot to Gallu temple for Triund. It is a steep ascent for 4 hours through a mixed forest of oak, rhododendron and deodar trees to Triund. Then comes the Magic view which is one of the oldest chai shop and a midway to Triund where one can stop for some refreshments and it is a lovely selfie point. From here the trail gets steeper and the last 45 minutes has 22 turns and twists which makes the trail more interesting. After trekking for another 2 hours we arrive at Triund and check in our camps. Triund is an alpine meadow situated on top of a ridge from where we have superb views of the peaks of Dhauladhar Mountain on one side and Kangra valley on the other. Watching the Sunset from Triund top is perhaps the main highlight of the trek. Later we enjoy our dinner near the bonfire and spend time under the starlit sky. Overnight stay at camp. Dinner with a bonfire in the evening.
Wake up early to see the incredible views of sunrise from behind the lofty mountains. It is a beautiful sight as siun lights the whole Kangra Valley. After early breakfast at Triund we walk further up to Snow line which is the main attraction of this trek from where you have a close view of Laka Glacier and the peaks of Dhauladhar. Walk back to Triund, one can enjoy Lunch at Triund at their own expenses. After lunch we will take a different route on the way back to Bhagsu. It is a downhill walk for three to four hours to Bhagsu Nag. Enroute we come across Bhagsu waterfall. Trek Ends at Bhagsu Nag. Drive to your next destination.
