  • Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

    Welcome to India! A Manu Adventures India representative will meet you at Delhi International Airport and transfer you to your hotel. After check-in, the remainder of the day is free for rest and recovery from your international journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may take a gentle neighbourhood walk or enjoy your first Indian dinner at the hotel.   • Day 2: Old Delhi and New Delhi Heritage Tour

    Day 2: Old Delhi and New Delhi Heritage Tour After breakfast, begin a guided exploration of India’s capital. Start in Old Delhi, where narrow lanes, colourful bazaars, religious monuments and street-food stalls reveal the city’s historic character. Visit Jama Masjid and walk or ride through the bustling Chandni Chowk area. Continue past the Red Fort before visiting Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. In New Delhi, see India Gate, the Parliament district and Rashtrapati Bhavan. Visit Humayun’s Tomb or Qutub Minar before returning to the hotel. Your guide will introduce you to Delhi’s Mughal, colonial and modern history throughout the day.   • Day 6: Tibetan Culture and Dharamshala Experience

Continue to the Tibetan Museum, subject to its opening schedule, to understand the history and experiences of the Tibetan community. Reach Triund, situated at approximately 2,850 metres, and enjoy magnificent views of the Dhauladhar mountains.   • Day 8: Triund to Snowline/Laka Area and Back

    Wake to sunrise views over the Kangra Valley. After breakfast, continue towards the Snowline and Laka Glacier area. The route becomes steeper and more rugged as it approaches the higher mountains. The guide will select the safest destination according to weather, trail conditions, seasonal snow and the group’s fitness. Enjoy a packed lunch surrounded by the Dhauladhar landscape before returning to the Triund campsite. Spend a second evening in the mountains, with time for photography, conversation and stargazing.   • Day 9: Triund to McLeod Ganj
