This Golden Triangle tour with Dharamshala pairs the classic Delhi–Agra–Jaipur circuit with a stay in the Dhauladhar foothills. Mughal architecture, Rajasthan’s palaces and lively city streets give way to Tibetan cultural sites, forested hills and the Kangra Valley.

Visit Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb, with a drive past India Gate and the government district. The Lotus Temple is planned subject to opening arrangements.

Travel by road to Agra, check in and explore Agra Fort. Later, visit Mehtab Bagh for views across the Yamuna towards the Taj Mahal, conditions permitting.
Overnight: Agra
Plan an early Taj Mahal visit, followed by breakfast and the drive to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri. The sightseeing order will be adjusted around monument opening days.
Overnight: Jaipur
Explore Amber Fort, City Palace and Jantar Mantar, with a photo stop at Hawa Mahal. There is time to enjoy the Pink City’s markets, depending on the day’s pace.

Travel to Delhi Airport for the planned flight to Gaggal, followed by a transfer to Dharamshala or McLeodganj. This is a substantial travel day: the road transfer and flight must be coordinated before the itinerary is confirmed.
Overnight: Dharamshala
Explore the Tsuglagkhang temple complex and Tibetan cultural surroundings. Visit Bhagsunag and St. John in the Wilderness, with time for markets and cafés. The waterfall walk can be adjusted to your mobility and conditions.

Discover Kangra Fort, the Tibetan arts at Norbulingka Institute and the valley’s tea-growing landscape. The order of visits is planned around opening hours and road conditions.

Transfer to Gaggal Airport for your return flight and onward transfer to the hotel. Spend your final evening at leisure; Connaught Place or Dilli Haat can be considered if time allows.

Transfer to Delhi International Airport for your onward journey. Your final transfer is arranged around the departure details confirmed with our team.

Day 6 combines a long road transfer with a mountain flight. We will check whether this works for your dates before confirming. An earlier departure or a revised overnight arrangement may be needed and will be discussed with you.

October–November and March–April are useful starting points when balancing city sightseeing with a Himalayan stay. Winter brings cooler days in the cities and colder conditions in Dharamshala.
Late spring and summer can be hot in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, even when the hills feel cooler. Monsoon weather can affect roads and flights, so discuss the practical trade-offs before selecting dates.
Bring comfortable walking shoes, layers for the hills and suitable clothing for religious sites. Confirm domestic baggage allowances before packing. Tell us about mobility needs, dietary preferences and arrival details early.
