Triund trek is an approximately 18km trek and can be easily done in 4-6 hours which makes it possible to do it within a single day but the best part is to watch the sunset. There are two routes to do this day hike, the easiest way is to take a cab to Galu temple and start your hike from there and the other route is from Bhagsunag waterfall which is short but steep from the beginning.

Manu adventure is the possibility of traveling safely and being able to have a first contact with the mountains of the Himalaya,… read more the nature of the glacier, the shepherds and the local culture. The whole experience is a mental and physical challenge, you must be prepared for this.
Things I loved:
– every point of the camp was very well organized.
– we were provided with the right equipment
– carefully read the type of walk you want, it guarantees that you are well up, if you follow the instructions, you will enjoy a better experience.
– you’re going to go down stronger than when you started going up, I promise.
Things to keep in mind:
– definitely don’t carry more than you can’t carry for hours.
– the descent is more difficult, so save your energy for that moment.
– respect the local culture, if you are attentive (even if you don’t understand the language) you will be able to have a deeper immersion in the values of the mountain people.
– do not buy water on the way, avoid plastic, take your own bottle and refill it with pure water from the glacier.
– learn to walk, learn to step firmly, use your whole foot wisely, use all your senses, try to lift your eyes from the stones from time to time and look at the landscape around you, breathe beautifully and enjoy.
