Travel is not just about visiting places—it’s about the people you meet, the moments you share, and the memories that stay with you long after the journey is over. This belief came to life for us recently when my wife, our two kids, and I embarked on an 11 nights / 12 days tour with Manu Adventures India. Our journey took us across some of the most culturally rich and historically significant destinations in North India—Amritsar, Dharamsala, Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra.

What made this trip extraordinary was not just the beauty of these places, but the way everything was planned and taken care of for us. Traveling with kids can sometimes be challenging, but the team made it incredibly easy. Day 1–2: Amritsar – A Warm Welcome to Punjab

Our trip began in Amritsar, a city that beautifully blends spirituality and history. Right from the airport, the service of Manu Adventures India was excellent. We were received warmly, transported comfortably, and guided with care.

The highlight, of course, was the iconic Golden Temple. Visiting this sacred place with my wife during the evening prayers was a spiritual experience beyond words. The shimmering reflection of the temple on the holy water, the peaceful atmosphere, and the kindness of volunteers made us feel blessed.

We also visited the Jallianwala Bagh, a moving reminder of India’s history, and witnessed the energetic Wagah Border Ceremony, where the patriotic spirit was electrifying.

Amritsar was a perfect start—soulful, vibrant, and full of flavour..

Dharamsala – Peace, Mountains & Tibetan Culture

From the plains of Punjab, we moved into the serene Himalayas of Dharamsala. Being the home base of Manu Adventures India, we received the warmest hospitality here.

The cool weather, peaceful monasteries, and mountain views made Dharamsala our favourite stop.

Delhi – A Walk Through India’s Grand History

Our next destination was the capital city, Delhi. With a well-planned itinerary, we comfortably explored the city without rushing.

Raj Ghat
Red Fort (drive past)

The mix of Mughal architecture, modern streets, and vibrant markets made Delhi a memorable part of our journey.

Jaipur – The Royal Pink City Experience

Jaipur welcomed us with colours, culture, and royal charm. Manu Adventures India handled all hotel arrangements, guides, and travel seamlessly.

Our final stop was Agra, home to one of the world’s greatest wonders. Seeing the Taj Mahal at sunrise with my wife was an emotional and unforgettable moment.
